IDA + CASPER

Just landed on VOGUE FRANCE, IDA + CASPER’s incredible wedding in Italy. We love how the couple were inspired by old Italian family traditions which they blended seamlessly with Ida's Danish heritage. Ida says, “Our vision for the wedding was to create an old Italian family vibe with minimal use of flowers and props. We felt the theme should be simple and focused on our love story. Our wedding dinner was held in a beautiful villa from the early 16th century with stunning alfresco paintings and high vaulted ceilings. We had everyone dress in black to accentuate this grand backdrop even more and the hall was lit in candles. It was completely magical.

"In Denmark we have a very special word that exists only in Danish and cannot be directly translated - “hygge.” Our wedding was exactly that. Simple, no excess decorations, flowers or anything unnecessary. The focus was on love and the long journey we’ve had as a couple. As a result it was a magical celebration that lasted for three days, with the party continuing every night until the early morning. People danced and celebrated until 9am the next day!”

Ida wears two OWN looks, for her Friday night welcome dinner she wears STYLE 039 and STYLE 037. On Saturday she wears custom STYLE 118 with a detachable mikado Watteau sash that she also wore around her neck.
