UK SHIPPING COSTS

UK shipping is complimentary for orders over £100.

Please note, if you are placing a rush order and are UK based, we recommend either collection directly from the studio or organising a courier for delivery.

Postage to Northern Ireland will be charged at the carriers standard shipping rate which is normally around £25-30 for evening wear, and around £40-£50 for bridal wear.  

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING 

We ship internationally. Please see indicative prices below for shipping.

We ship via DHL, UPS, FedEx Express and Parcelforce which is part of the Royal Mail. We will always choose the most reliable and affordable delivery partner unless you ask us to ship with a specific partner. Please note it is your responsibility to advise us if you want us to use a specific delivery service. You would need to advise us of this when placing your order so we can make a note of it.

Please note the following is a guide only, and may change as it is dependent on the weight of your order and your location:  

Shipping to the EU £40 (Evening Wear), up to £80 (Bridal)

Shipping to the US £40 ( Evening Wear), up to £120 (Bridal)

Shipping to Australia £65 ( Evening Wear), up to £120 (Bridal)

Rest of the world £50 ( Evening Wear), up to £120 (Bridal)

 

CUSTOMS / LOCAL TAXES

If you have made your purchase from outside of the UK our website will automatically remove the UK sales tax. However as you did not pay tax on your purchase in the UK, your parcel will be subject to a local taxes upon arrival in the destination country. 

You will need to pay local taxes in order to release it. Payment will be required either be on the doorstep if you are in when they deliver or they will send you an email if you miss the delivery. If you miss the delivery, they will reattempt to deliver but we would advise you call them to find out when they will re-deliver/ to arrange re-delivery at a convenient time. Please note that if tax is not paid, the parcel will be either sent back to us or it will be destroyed by the carrier.  

The exact amount of the customs charge will depend on the item, the value of the parcel, what it contains and the guidelines in the delivery country customs. Each country has their own set of rules so unfortunately we are unable to advise on the amount this may be - it is best to investigate this with your local tax or customs department directly.

We charge you for your order in GBP POUNDS Sterling. The actual price charged to overseas customers will be subject to the exchange rate applied by your credit or debit card company.

 

SHIPPING FAQ

What do I need to do in order to receive my parcel on time?

Our deliveries will require a signature. If delivery has been attempted for a signed for package it is your responsibility to contact the delivery provider with the tracking information and locate/ collect the parcel.


No delivery has been attempted and my parcel has not arrived - what shall I do?

Get in touch with us at info@theownstudio.com if you have not received the package within 7 working days from the date when you received your dispatch notice. Usually the package will remain in the local depot or post office and we can rearrange a delivery to you with a track number, or we can provide you with the track number so you can collect it from the collection point.
